Candle Care
The Art of a
Beautiful Burn
A little care goes a long way. Master the ritual of maintaining your Florica candle for the perfect atmospheric experience.
Phase I
The
Preparation
Before Every Burn
The foundation of a beautiful flame begins before it's ever lit. Always trim the wick to ¼ inch (6mm) before lighting. This prevents uneven burning, excessive smoking, and keeps the flame controlled.
The First Burn
Patience is a virtue. Allow the wax pool to reach the edges of the vessel during the first burn. This prevents "tunneling," ensuring your candle burns evenly for its entire lifespan. Expect this to take 2-3 hours.
Phase III
The
Afterglow
After the Flame
Use a snuffer to extinguish the flame to prevent smoke and hot wax from splattering. While the wax is still liquid, ensure the wick is centered and upright for the next burn.
Saying Goodbye
For safety, discontinue use when only ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel. The beautiful jar can then be repurposed.
A Note on Safety
Burn within sight. Keep away from things that catch fire. Keep away from children and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
TRIM. LIGHT. ENJOY. EXTINGUISH.
